BURNING NEWS✍️RAJESH SHARMA कुछ दिन पहले पंजाब के सीएम से पंजाब में जनरल कैटेगरी कमीशन बनाने की मांग उठाई थी। इस संबंध में संजय सहगल को मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय से एक ई-मेल प्राप्त हुआ है जो उपरोक्त अनुरोध पर विचार करने के लिए प्रधान सचिव और विशेष सचिव को मुख्यमंत्री को भेज दिया गया है। यह लंबे समय से लंबित है जिसे मैंने सामान्य श्रेणी की ओर से लिया है।
मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत चन्नी कैबिनेट बैठक में हमारे अनुरोध पर विचार करने जा रहे हैं और संभावना है कि जल्द ही इसका गठन किया जाएगा।

Long – pending demand of General Category for seeking formation of a “General Category Commission” to address the grievances of the General Category. There are total 83 General Category Assembly Seats in Punjab. But MLA’s from General Category in Punjab Assembly never raised issued in Punjab Vidhan Sabha to constitute a “General Category Commission”. Yesterday Himachal Chief Minister has also announced formation of a Commission to address the grievances of the general category. Similar Commission is already setup in Madhya Pardesh and Bihar State.
General Category have decided to Vote for Congress only if Govt will issue notification and Constitute “General Category Commission” before Election Code of Conduct. General Category is the largest population in the state and still awaiting for their Rights. General Category will start up demonstartion in all assembly constituencies if such decision is not taken by the Govt.
A Scheduled Caste & Miniorities Commission is already in operation in Punjab.
It is the priority of Govt to provide justice to all sections of the society. Govt should also chalked out action plan for the welfare & healthcare
In Punjab, according to the 2011 census, more than 68.1% population belongs to the General Category making it the majority vote bank to form any Govt.
I hope S. Charanjit Singh Channi Hon’ble Chief Minsiter will come forward and accept the demand of General Category.
